Our client are a successful charitable organisation, looking for a part-time in-house lawyer to join their team, working with their General Counsel and In-house Counsel. You should be a qualified Lawyer, ideally with several years' experience.

The ideal candidate will have broad experience, and will be pragmatic and able to work on their own initiative. He/she will be bright, solution-focussed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment where collaborative working is key. As such excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to be flexible in your work.The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and friendly team where people are passionate about the work that they do. Previous experience in the charity sector/in-house/technology would be advantageous.

The post-holder will be an integral part of the team, and will take on a range of duties including the following:

-Providing legal advice and support on a variety of areas of law and jurisdictions.
-Taking a leading role in drafting, negotiating, and managing a range of commercial contracts.
-Offering advice and training on general compliance, data protection and governance matters in a charitable context.
-Managing aspects of IP and trademark protection and enforcement.
-Supporting internal statutory compliance review processes.
-Developing templates, processes, guidance, and training that supports business managers to do low-risk legal work effectively.
-Ensuring that the company's legal position is robust while upholding the organisations core values
