VP - Trade Finance Counsel

5-8 year PQE lawyer (guideline only) from a City law firm background

This exciting role is with a leading banking cooperation who have a global network supporting their clients world wide.

Your new role
It is expected you will be working on 20-30 legal matters and over the course of a year will assist the bank with hundreds of legal issues. You will draft, review and advise on a broad range of finance and commercial documentation, you will also ensure these documents are in accordance with internal requirements and policies as well as external regulations. You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating both new and existing banking and finance documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have qualified from a "magic" or "silver" circle firm with 5-8 years PQE (as a guideline only). To be successful you will have gained solid experience in a broad range of general banking and finance and trade products. It would be an advantage to also have experience in industry derivatives documentation/ regulatory matters.

What you'll get in return
Salary £95,000- £100,000. Benefits package includes: max 2 days work from home per week, housing allowance, car allowance, pension scheme, 25 days holiday with the option to buy/ sell 5 days, private medical, interest free season ticket loan and death in service x10 life assurance.
