My client, a Lexcel accredited and reputable multi-office law firm, are seeking a family solicitor to join their successful and busy family department based in Hertfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy department, but to also join an experienced and dynamic team.
The Role:
You will join a friendly and experienced team made up of two partners, three fee earners and a legal secretary.
The successful candidate will enjoy a broad mix of purely private client work with a bias towards financial proceedings under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973. Your caseload may also include divorce and dissolution, financial matters, children, cohabitation and pre and post nuptial agreements.
About you:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years'+ PQE within a reputable law firm
- Experienced technical ability specialising in private family matters
- Experienced in financial proceedings under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973
- Experience of managing a busy caseload, under appropriate supervision
- Experience of participating in business development and networking activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
