Your new company
This exciting role is with a leading banking cooperation who have a global network supporting their clients world wide. The multinational banking and financial services company is the second largest bank by assets in its founding country. The company employees over 22,000 people. Your new office is based in the City of London, with the option to work from home 2 days a week, you will be working with a team of around 11 people. Due to the flat structure of the team you must be capable of handling complex work as well as the simplest.

Your new role
It is expected you will be working on 20-30 legal matters and over the course of a year will assist the bank with hundreds of legal issues. You will draft, review and advise on a broad range of finance and commercial documentation, you will also ensure these documents are in accordance with internal requirements and policies as well as external regulations. You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating both new and existing banking and finance documentation.

You will regularly be liaising with senior stakeholders and directing them as well as customers of the bank in relation to a broad of transnational and commercial documentation and legal issues. Your key job functions will include structuring, documenting and negotiating treasury and capital market transactions including ISDAs, CSAs and considering related EMIR issues

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have qualified from a "magic" or "silver" circle firm with 5-8 years PQE (as a guideline only). To be successful you will have gained solid experience in a broad range of general banking and finance and trade products. It would be an advantage to also have experience in industry derivatives documentation/ regulatory matters. You will also have good familiarity with market standard loan documentation.

What you'll get in return
Salary £95,000- £100,000. Benefits package includes: max 2 days work from home per week, housing allowance, car allowance, pension scheme, 25 days holiday with the option to buy/ sell 5 days, private medical, interest free season ticket loan and death in service x10 life assurance.

You will attend CPD training courses in order to keep updated in relation to market loan documentation developments and new emerging legal issues.
