We are currently recruiting for an Adult Lawyer position required to join a niche social enterprise firm based in either Cambridge or Northampton on a fixed term contract or permanent basis. This organisation prides itself to undertake work on behalf of public sector bodies to include local authorities, NHS and CCGS in the area along with charities and other public bodies. They are becoming the lead provider to public sector bodies across the East Midlands and East Anglia area with work coming to them.

The client is ideally looking for an Adult social care lawyer preferably those that have worked within public sector organisations, however private practice candidates are strongly advised to apply. The Head of Service is happy to train someone who comes from a litigation or mental health background that has a real keen interest in the area of law. They have an exceptional supportive team who are there to assist with training and support during your time.

As an Adults Lawyer, you will be handling a caseload of Adult social care matters such as court of protection, Deprivation of liberty, mental health matters and general advice. The role will be working across the shared service and there is the opportunity to work for a number of clients at one time which creates a real variety of work.

This client prides itself on organic growth across the service which brings great opportunity for their staff.

The client is offering flexible working in terms of hours and working from home once you pass probation with up to 2 days working from home. Competitive salary on offer along with a good pension scheme.
