Insurance Disputes Associate

We are looking for experienced Disputes Associates to join our clients' Insurance Disputes team based in Birmingham. Working under supervision, you will assist the partners and other team members on complex work, dealing with professional negligence matters.

We have two roles, one is a permanent position and one is a FTC up to 12 months.

The ideal candidate will be a lawyer of 2+ years experience gained in a City firm or large regional firm. You will have a good background in commercial litigation and/or professional indemnity litigation, and insurance coverage disputes. You will also need to have good time and file management skills, the ability to build good working relationships with clients and good research skills.

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with Legal PA/EA/Secretarial experience who wishes to broaden their knowledge and skills within this highly regarded national law firm. Based in their Cambridge office, this position is within the firms Corporate department.

You will work as part of a team providing a high quality support service to lawyers, utilising available resources as appropriate. The role is busy and challenging and will require the candidate to have:

· Experience of providing support to multiple people i.e. diary management, arranging travel/events
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems; Outlook and Word
· The ability to work as part of a team, establishing good working relationships at all levels
· Excellent planning and organisational skills
· The ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels 
· Excellent presentation and attention to detail
