Legal Counsel - Manufacturing/ Greater Manchester / £50 - £60k

New opportunity for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join a Global Manufacturing business in the Greater Manchester area. Applications are invited from UK qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQE who have previous Commercial Contracts experience from within Private Practice or In-house.

The business is well established and has operated globally for a number of years. As Commercial Counsel your remit will cover the EMEA region, providing expert Legal advice to business units on a variety of matters including commercial contract drafting/review, corporate & regulatory compliance, M&A and governance. You will form part of a wider Legal team based in the US.

Ideally this role is suited to a Commercial Solicitor who has had a focus on manufacturing in their career to date. Exposure to International work (i.e multiple jurisdictions) is preferred, as is the ability to demonstrate the handling of senior stakeholder relationships. Previous experience of working remotely from a central Legal function is desirable, displaying awareness of the complex regional legal arrangement affecting the companies activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for In-House Solicitors looking for a greater scope to their role. Working for a huge global business with high levels of autonomy will ensure continuous development in a fast-paced environment.
