This highly respected law costs firm based in Chester are looking to appoint a law costs draftsman to deal with a caseload of complex multi track matters.

This opportunity is for a law costs draftsman with at least 2 years' experience of dealing with civil costs matters (RTA, EL/PL, Industrial Disease & Clinical Negligence) to carry their own caseload and deal with complex bills. A significant proportion of the work in place is clinical negligence based so you will be dealing with high value bills and therefore prior experience of this is necessary.

You will be working in a small team as part of a wider civil department however there may also be further opportunities to deal with commercial costs matters. You must have experience of negotiation, drafting, dealing with points of dispute and costs budgeting however you will be provided with further training opportunities to bring your skills up to speed.

This actively support your development and pay for enrolment onto the ACL until you qualify as a Costs Lawyer. On top of that you will see basic holidays of 25 days, bonus scheme, pension and further benefits. Salary for this position is circa £30,000.
