The role

Due to strategic growth, the firm are seeking to hire a Planning and Environmental Lawyer into their Ipswich office.

You will as part of a Nationally regarded department, alongside a Partner who is ranked in the Legal 500 as one of the top Planning Lawyers nationally. You will find you will obtain excellent exposure both work and client wise. You will deal with a broad range of work, which will make for a much more interesting role.

Work will include drafting, negotiating, litigating (planning appeals and court), policy and political advice.

The client base is broad and includes; commercial and residential developers, investors, retail and leisure operators, social housing bodies, major corporate occupiers, banks and other funders, and a range of public sector bodies.

You will find a real level of variety to the work, making for an interesting role. You will receive an excellent level of exposure, and given their level of growth, good prospects are in abundance.

Requirements

• You will be a Planning Lawyer with between 2-6 years PQE
• You will have worked for a recognised tax department
• Strong academics are essential
• First class communication skills are essential
