About the Role:

A Housing Litigation Solicitor is required to join one of the largest housing providers in the UK for a minimum of 3 months. The Solicitor will be required to provide high quality advice on litigation related matters. They will be required to advise on, in particular, housing management and landlord & tenant contentious matters to the organisation and its group partners.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate for this Housing Litigation Solicitor role will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
  • 2+ years PQE
  • Experienced in housing litigation casework
  • Experience working in a housing association or other public sector body would be beneficial
  • Experience in conducting advocacy

Key responsibilities
The successful candidate for this Housing Litigation Solicitor role will be required to:

  • Draft legal proceedings, witness statements and pleadings
  • Carry out advocacy as required
  • Supporting junior legal team members and providing general assistance to the legal team
  • To develop and implement processes and procedures
