We are currently working with a employment law specialist firm who now due to continued growth are looking for a Employment Law Consultant to join their Chester office on a permanent full time or part time basis.

You will be expected to manage your own case load covering all aspects of employment law and the role will involve entering claims and defending claims at the employment tribunal and managing them until conclusion, whether through settlement or at a hearing. You will need a comprehensive knowledge of law and practice relating to employment disputes and you will possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You should have experience of preparing cases for hearing as well as being highly experienced and confident with conducting employment tribunal advocacy.

You will also be expected to advise our retainer clients on a full range of employment law issues whether by telephone, email or at their premises. The successful candidate will be expected to communicate rational, cost effective and commercially sensible solutions to our clients' legal problems. You will need to be confident, approachable, self-motivated and highly organised, as well as largely self-sufficient from an administrative perspective. 

The position requires some degree of travelling to client premises but will predominantly be home-based.
