Senior Legal Counsel

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to work in-house for a well-known property investment business based the West End of London.

This would be ideal for a Senior Lawyer or someone who has experience of working in-house before.

The Company

This award-winning business has grown substantially in recent years, winning several industry leading awards. They have a team that are renowned for being leaders in the industry, with a combined experience of over 200 years.

This company have been in news write ups and on different television programmes in recent months and are really making a name for themselves in the industry.

They currently have an in-house legal team of two and are looking to carry on expanding due to the amount of work coming through on a monthly basis.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a growing business in the West End, London.

You will be at the forefront of the legal team, dealing with matters coming through directly from the sales team and the board of Directors.

You will deal with Property matters, managing the end to end conveyancing process. You will work closely with a panel of Solicitors, outsourcing work. You will be expected to maintain strong relationships with these Solicitors.

You will work closely with a law firm that work is outsourced to, so you will not be needing to deal with the conveyancing process from start to finish. If there are more complex matters, you will be taking these on in-house. You will be dealing with any complaints / enquiries that need to be dealt with in-house.

Requirements:

• You will be a Property Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE
• You will have good experience of working in a busy team
• In-house experience is desired but not essential
• You will have a meticulous eye for detail
