You will be responsible for the setting up, coordinating, reviewing and reporting on the Pro Bono activities at the East Anglia campus, based in the University of Law and to promote pro bono activity amongst the public, the profession, staff and students at the campus. 

To plan and manage the delivery of the East Anglia Pro Bono programme and carry out the role of Supervising Solicitor, supervising University of Law students,as required.

To source and maintain existing relationships with external partners, to ensure external opportunities for University of Law students.

To ensure effective, customer focused delivery of the East Anglia Pro Bono programme.

To deliver first level careers advice and act as first point of contact for the Employability Service.

This is a part-time role of 14 hours per week. Although it is likely that this will amount to two fixed days per week (to be agreed, but to be consistent with the teaching timetable), it is expected that some flexibility within this will be shown, in working at other times so as to meet business needs e.g. supervision of students, attendance at Open Days, national team meetings etc. 

For this role we are looking for a qualified Solicitor with recent experience of legal practice. It is essential that you hold a practising certificate or can apply for one.
