In House Lawyer Job - Cirencester - Flexible Working + Parking


Your new company
This growing and dynamic business have a rare opportunity for a solicitor with experience in litigation /insurance to join their team in Cirencester. This is an excellent role for a 3+ PQE lawyer to be part of a determined and enthusiastic team committed to enabling continued commercial success. You will have exposure to and work closely with senior management; in addition to flexible working, you will also have access to parking.

Your new role
You will be assisting the senior litigation lawyer with managing a caseload of high value commercial litigation claims across various legal entities and clients. You will need a strategic approach to handling complex, high value claims with multiple parties and will need to maintain and develop excellent relationships with customers and clients, as well as; determining case strategy, analysing liabilities and setting appropriate reserves, managing third party vendors and negotiating settlements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, ideally in litigation/insurance and/or a similar claim adjusting role within the UK. In-House or Private Practise experience will be considered; however, it is essential that you have strong knowledge and experience of litigation within the insurance market. You must have good awareness of the role of the legal function in a large business and can contribute actively in the taking of key business decisions. An appetite to learn new skills and the versatility and technical ability to deal with issues outside of your experience and learn quickly on the job is desirable.
