The Role

The firm are looking to hire an experienced Construction Solicitor or Senior Solicitor into their office in Bury St Edmunds

You will be responsible for working alongside the Real Estate and Dispute Resolution Partners to service and increase their Construction offering throughout the region.

This firm will provide you will full support to build your own client base; therefore, you must be client facing and business development focused to increase the Construction offering.

Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist areas, you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of contentious and non-contentious Construction including: Experience of adjudication, arbitration and litigation, providing practical and commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress.

Typical disputes include interim and final payments disputes, Professional negligence claims and issues of delay and defective works.

Requirements

• You will be a Construction Solicitor or Senior Solicitor or Partner with at least 4 years PQE +
• You will have an excellent technical knowledge of commercial property matters and a strong billings history
• You should have evidence of successful business development, with a transportable client base an advantage
• Salary is competitive, based upon experience
