Are you a lawyer looking for a change of direction in your career? As a Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service you will be responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. We are looking for lawyers who want to make a real difference and provide justice for victims and witnesses. From fraud and firearms to public order and corporate manslaughter – the CPS works on all kinds of cases.

Your role as a Prosecutor means you will be making the fair – sometimes unpopular – decisions that better society and make a difference in people’s lives. Your role is at the centre of delivering justice and your work will include tasks such as advising investigations, preparing for prosecutions and presenting a wide range of cases at magistrates’ court.

In your role you will have access to development opportunities enabling you to further your skills and career. You will have an Individual Learning Account (ILA) which will allow you to attend training courses of your choice; you will also be able to shadow colleagues in other roles to give you different perspectives to further develop your skills.
