We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner for a newly created role in Merseyside.
This role would suit anybody with upwards of 2 years' experience of litigated Personal Injury Claims.
Your role will be to help run a caseload of Portal drop out RTA Claims in a high-quality and effective manner under the supervision of the Head of Department.
The law firm in question are a passionate, forward thinking and modern law firm. They currently employ over 50 staff from their state-of-the-art offices in Liverpool and Manchester.
The firm has a very steady stream of work and has grown in recent years in spite of the costs restrictions imposed on the PI market. As a result, job security is something they are able to offer as is a manageable caseload and a friendly working environment.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor or Legal Executive who will be responsible for managing a mixed caseload of RTA Personal Injury Claims
The claims that you will deal with will have exited the MOJ Portal and are likely to be allocated to the Fast Track or lower end Multi Track.
The role will involve conducting and managing case load, including taking appropriate daily decisions involving considerable exercise of judgment, subject to supervision.
The claims will be passed to you from the Pre-Litigation and/or Portal team and you will be responsible for them all the way through to trial or settlement.
Support will be provided in the form of a legal assistant.
What we are looking for
You should be capable of efficiently handling a caseload of predominantly RTA Portal drop out claims, with strong organisational skills and the ability to set and meet deadlines, whilst meeting and managing client expectations.
More than 2 years' experience of working on legal claims preferably in respect of RTA matters subject to specific team requirements
Excellent understanding of Proclaim or equivalent case management systems
Up to £35,000 basic salary plus bonus. This could realistically lead to earning of over £40,000 in the first year.
9 am to 5 pm
25 days a year plus bank holidays
