This experienced national team has a strong record unlocking complex and difficult planning issues and assisting to obtain consents for major development projects throughout England & Wales.

They are top tier ranked in planning in the legal 500, having leading individuals in chambers. It's an informal small non-hierarchal structure. Office is open plan, they all sit next to each other. This person would be sat next to the Partner so would get excellent training and partner access. You will benefit from lots of client contact.

The role

The firm is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their highly regarded Southampton office.

The Planning department is ranked highly in the Legal 500 tiers. You will deal with a fantastic quality of work, within a team of highly experienced Lawyers across the firm's network of offices, the client base will include a range of UK and overseas property companies and institutions, retailers, corporate occupiers, contractors, NHS, land owners and companies whose property assets are at the heart of their business as well as UK Government bodies.
The team offer a full range of services covering every stage of the property life cycle for a wide range of clients involved in different businesses.

The caseload will be broad and varied, making for a more interesting role.

You will find that there is a very open-door policy with Partners, and you receive an excellent level of support. This role comes with excellent prospects for progression.
The ideal candidate will be...

• You will be a Planning Solicitor NQ - 4 PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• You should have a good level of technical planning knowledge
