If you are an experienced Residential Conveyancer, this is an exciting opportunity to join an established, forward-thinking Legal 500 practice and enjoy genuine career prospects which could see you as Head of Department in a relatively short space of time.

Our client is one of the largest legal practices in the area with several branch offices. An opportunity has arisen in their Coventry office for a Domestic Conveyancer to join their Property Department, which is key in supporting the firm achieve its strategic objectives for substantial growth over the next five years.

The successful candidate will oversee and undertake all aspects of residential conveyancing to include freehold and leasehold work, sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, rights to buy, shared ownerships and new plot purchases.

You will enjoy business development and marketing and you will be keen to develop business opportunities within the Property Department, working closely with the Head of Department and other team members.

The successful candidate will be highly personable and able to manage as you will be supervising an existing team of two from the outset. You will be instrumental in building a strong residential conveyancing team in the Coventry office and you will ensure that all work is carried out in an expeditious manner and meets Lexcel standards.

It is envisaged that this position would suit a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least five years' residential conveyancing experience as you will need to be able to work independently and unsupervised. In addition to the technical expertise required, the ideal candidate will also possess supervisory abilities, due to the managerial aspects of the role.
