Job Details
This niche commercial law firm based in Oldham are seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or FCILEX to add to their small and friendly team. With a fantastic work / life balance in place you will be able to deal with clients regularly on a face to face basis and perform site visits. This isn't your standard 9 - 5 commercial position!
You will be dealing with a broad mix of work and acting for company clients whilst dealing with shareholder disputes, contractual claims, professional negligence, property disputes and general litigation. With this being a small firm you will be dealing with a contrasting client base from private companies to regional and national SME's. Ideally you be around 5 years' PQE and be comfortable dealing with an unsupervised caseload.
There may also be a small smattering of broad commercial transactional work to include sales & purchases of businesses and corporate deals as well as share sales & purchases. Training will be provided on this should you not have any relevant commercial experience.
As you will be part of a small team, you won't be required to deal with management duties and your focus will be dealing with complex transactions as well as supporting the senior partner with business development. There is a great team ethos at this company and a real feeling of 'all in this together', so the working environment is relaxed and grown up. A great work/life balance will be afforded to those who are willing to work hard during core hours and complete work in a competent manner.
This is a very autonomous position so will allow you the opportunity to deal everything from fee earning to client meetings and business development. Salary is based on experience level but a tremendous benefits package and bonus scheme will also be attached.
