Your new role
A newly created Legal Counsel position reporting to the General Counsel as part of a small but indispensable team of lawyers. You will work on various corporate and generalist commercial matters, including supporting M&A transactions, working on crucial corporate financing projects and negotiating complex international commercial agreements to further business interests, while also supporting internal stakeholders at different levels. Sitting within the group function in the modern Central London offices, you will be an important stakeholder in a fast-paced international corporate environment. The legal team is influential and highly respected, adopting a "no task is too small" attitude towards supporting the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified corporate orientated lawyer with 3-6 PQE (as a guide only), with excellent training from a respected firm and strong academics. You will have demonstrable corporate and commercial experience and exposure to emerging markets matters. You must have had some level of in-house experience, even if through client secondments. French language skills would be advantageous but are by no means necessary. The business is looking for someone that imbibes its values, which include integrity and customer focus.
