Banking - Management role
Exciting opportunity for banking lawyer seeking change from long working hours to a business role - flex hours
If you are currently in private practice, working long hours and seeking something just a little bit different, this role could be for you.
Offering people management, strategic input and a truly forward thinking environment, this role offers the opportunity to remain working on behalf of a top class client base, based at a state of the art office. The team you will manage will advise banks, building societies and financial institutions on a range of typical banking matters (general finance, lending and investment management), plus restructuring matters and regulatory. The successful individual will not be expected to have expertise in all areas.
Day to day, responsibilities will include:
- Supervising on client facing transactional work
- Team management & assessing performance
- Client initiatives - looking at process and improvement initiatives
There is no specified level of PQE but you will have banking or FS experience as a qualified lawyer or very experienced fee earner (UK experience only). The client is open to considering those looking to work full or part-time and the office operates on a flexible basis.
You will be of interest if you are self motivated and solutions driven, would enjoy a leadership role (which includes participation in strategy and initiatives) and have an keen interest in IT and how it is utilised for the future of legal services.
