Employment Solicitor NQ-2yr PQE - Central Cardiff

Our client is one of the leading legal services providers in the region. Due to continued growth and success they are now looking to recruit a junior solicitor in their Employment team in Cardiff to undertake both contentious and non-contentious employment work. You will manage your own caseload under supervision as well as supporting senior fee earners with more complex, high profile cases.  You will also play an active part in marketing the department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and busy team and to begin your career in Employment law.

About You:

•Qualified with legal & technical knowledge, sufficient to achieve targets agreed with the Head of Department. Ideally you will be up to 2 years PQE.

•Strong experience within Employment work.

•Excellent client service levels and an understanding of the range & type of clients & their needs

•Experience of building strong client relationships to encourage an active pipeline of work

•Confident networker with experience of being involved in business development activities..

•Good financial management, including regular billing & collection of fees

•Working effectively with others in a team and the ability to delegate where appropriate

•Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and agents in a friendly and approachable manner.
