Job Details

This role is suited to either Manchester or Chester office, so this company are happy to consider applications from across the North West.

The role is a mixed general Crime role dealing with matters at the Police Station and Magistrates Court, from straight forward summary only matters to grave, indictable only offences. Having Higher Rights of Audience would be a welcome bonus, with the ability to deal with some Crown Court work.

The firm is fully committed to Legal Aid work and has taken a robust stance in the market since the cuts to the Legal Aid budget and have continued to grow both offices in Manchester and Cheshire.

Culture wise, the firm is very close-knit and has a family feel. The lawyers here genuinely have a passion for representing those most vulnerable in society and are proud to continue in the face of cuts to the CJS.

Salary will be based on experience and will ideally fall within the £35,000 - £45,000 bracket with a fantastic benefits package that includes company car, Xmas closure, laptop & mobile, opportunity to work from home and flexible working. As well as this there will also be the opportunity to work towards future Partnership and this is something that can be offered in a relativley short space of time.
