Well-established practice in London seeks an experienced Head of Private Client Department on either a full-time or part-time basis.

This is an opportune time to join this thriving firm and head up its private client department located in London. Utilising your skills and expertise in this field, the successful solicitor will manage their own caseload of private client matters and provide leadership to a team of fee earners and support staff. Business development will be an additional key feature of the role.

Responsibilities
• Will drafting
• Probate matters
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Estate administration
• Tax planning
• Advise on inheritance tax
• Residential care
• Court of Protection matters

The Candidate
• Qualified private client solicitors with at least three years’ PQE
• Ideally have consistently strong academics
• Excellent communication skills and first-class client care skills will be essential
• Be organised and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines
• Be skilled in business development and marketing activities
