This is an opportunity to join an expanding Neurotrauma Department in Newcastle city centre. Due to expansion, this role will see you joining a firm that sets the standard for excellence within the region. You will be tasked with a high quality caseload of files, the envy of any personal injury team in the North East.

In this role, you will have your own independent caseload of complex, claimant personal injury files. As part of the Neurotrauma Team, your caseload will include mainly brain and spinal cord injury matters.

You will also help out the wider team on both pre-litigated and litigated cases. Day to day, this role will see you investigating liability, reviewing medical documentation, obtaining medical evidence, special damages calculations and promoting the firm by attending special events.

To be considered for this exciting position, you must have significant experience handling a complex personal injury caseload. Prior experience or knowledge of brain and spinal cord injury matter has not been deemed essential but is highly desirable.

You should have detailed knowledge of the CPR and will be familiar with serious medical issues. You must also hold excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, as this role will see you work as part of a team and promote the department further with business development. You must also have a desire to stay until the job is done, often working unsocial hours.
