We are a collaboration providing a high quality and professional legal service to the five police forces. We are seeking to recruit solicitors or barristers with experience or a desire to work in the following areas:-

Operational/Court: The Operational/Court Solicitor will advise police officers and staff on matters of day-to-day operational policing and civil law. They will prepare and present applications principally to the Magistrates’ Court (and other Courts) relating to diverse operational applications on behalf of the Chief Constable to include under Sexual Offences Act 2003, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, Crime and Security Act 2010 (DVPOs), Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, appeals under s.44 Firearms Act 1968 and more generally as required.
