An award winning commercial law firm with a national presence are looking to recruit at a senior level to their specialist social housing team in Norwich.

The successful candidate will be joining a team with a top rate reputation throughout the UK in dealing with a broad range of matters on behalf of major housebuilder, developer and local authority clients. The team is experienced in dealing with matters such as

  • Acquisitions of housing development sites
  • Section 106 Agreements
  • Affordable housing disposals
  • Joint venture and mixed tenure schemes
  • Residential Development and Site set ups
  • Planning agreements and auction sales.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will join the team at a senior level, either as senior associate or partner. This firm see this appointment as a key strategic hire and it is very much part of their succession plans. They therfore envisage the opportunity for equity within a relatively short space of time.

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE in dealing with residential development matters within a well regarded city, national or regional commercial firm and will be looking to progress their career within a high profile commercial practice.

The residential development team forms part of the larger commercial property team which is one of the largest specialist commercial property teams outside of London.

The firm is an award winning practice that regularly beats large national and international commercial firms to numerous awards concerning and its practice areas as well as its approach towards technology and innovation

The firm will pay at the top end of market rate for the area (and will be based on the individual) but will be part of a superb benefits package including a bonus schemes,generous annual leave, private healthcare and much more.

The firm will offer financial support towards relocation costs for the successful candidate if required and will offer full support in terms of advice on schools, sports, local culture etc and to ensure that you settle into your role and the East Anglia area.
