Intellectual Property Lawyer

A Legal 100 firm, with heavyweight presence in the North West, is looking to expand at Senior Associate and Associate levels.

This highly regarded firm enjoys an enviable reputation on IP, business and brand protection. It is retained by an impressive portfolio of clients operating in various sectors including Media & Entertainment, IT Software and Development, Science, Biotechnology, Medicine and Healthcare.

As well expertise in more technical areas such research, creative and innovative projects, the team also has a wealth of experience in protecting a wide range of corporates and entrepreneurs in their business branding, copyrights and trading operations.

You will be involved in a diverse and rewarding caseload of instructions including:

• Confidential information and IP agreements including licences and assignments
• Copyright
• Patents
• Trademarks and passing off
• Trade libel
• Audit reviews

You will also have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in providing litigation and corporate support and as part of external marketing and business development initiatives.

The size of the team is such that if individuals have a specific niche or preference for work types are likely to be accommodated.
