Private Client Partner

My client is based in Lincoln and has a strong profile and a national client base. They have a strategic growth plan and are very ambitious. They are looking to add a tenacious, driven private client partner to their firm.

This might involve someone with a current following or their own networks, or it could be someone without networks but who may be at a senior associate level and is on the cusp of reaching partnership.

You could be considered for equity salaried partner roles or senior associate positions. All roles will come with an element of responsibility and people management.
 
You will be technically strong and possess high levels of client care.
 
In this role, you can expect to deal with wealthy individuals and business owners on estate planning matters. You will also be dealing with trust and estate administration, with supervision responsibility for junior fee earners.
 
You will have a background in most aspects of private client work and areas of specialism including the following:

Strategic estate planning advice for tax mitigation and asset protection purposes, tax advice including inheritance tax, capital gains tax and SDLT, advising on and utilising reliefs and exemptions such as business property relief, agricultural property relief and entrepreneurs’ relief, trust drafting and administration including trust accounting and tax compliance, inheritance and capital gains tax compliance, including relevant property regime tax compliance, capital gains calculations and hold-over relief elections, estate planning utilising pension and life insurance trusts and investment bonds, preparing wills and lasting powers of attorney, estate administration including complex, high net worth and offshore assets.
