Data Protection Officer
Our local authority client based in London is seeking a Data Protection Officer for three months initially.
The Data Protection Officer will be responsible for improving the councils compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework that governs the sharing and access of information. The successful candidate will also manage a caseload of subject access requests from start to finish alongside extracting , collating and redacting data. You will liaise with solicitors on a day to day basis whilst also disclosing files to law firms. It is essential that you have previous experience handling a caseload of subject access requests.
Our client is based close to the tube station and is surrounded by a plethora of shops and restaurants. You will join a supportive team and will work closely with the Information Governance Lawyer.
