Technical know how, people person. An experienced Residential Conveyancer is wanted for a unique, York based opportunity with a dynamic and forward thinking law firm. Applications are invited from qualified or non qualified Residential Conveyancers with strong customer service skills, looking to gravitate to a split role, managing a reduced caseload whilst providing quality advice and guidance to clients on the phone and face to face. Salary is upwards of £30,000 and negotiable, depending on experience.

The successful Residential Conveyancer will join a small, friendly, estate agency based team; managing a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from start to finish. Day to day duties will include sale contract issues, replies to enquiries, purchase contract approval and the raising and checking of enquiries and searches. Fee earners will also provide a high level of client support, face to face and over the telephone acting as the conduit between clients, referrers and larger office based teams.

Applications are invited from qualified and non qualified Residential Conveyancers looking for a new challenge, an opportunity to run a caseload and enjoy plenty of face to face contact with clients and referral sources. The successful candidate will possess at least 4 years experience gained in a busy high street, regional or volume conveyancing environment and be a confident and effective communicator who enjoys people.
