Pensions Solicitor / Associate 4+yrs PQE

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a new office in Cardiff for an experienced Pensions Solicitor, possibly from a large department but craving more autonomy, responsibility and variety.

The Role:

The candidate will work directly with trustees and employers, both nationally and internationally to provide pensions advice and establish their own relationship with the clients.

A key part of the role will be working together with the team to develop new clients and referrers, to grow the team further. 

90% of the work is stand-alone advice work and 10% is working in partnership with the corporate, construction, social housing, commercial, litigation, insolvency and employment teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The candidate will be technically strong, with good drafting skills a pre–requisite and will have worked at a city or large regional firm, recognised for its pensions expertise.

The candidate will be able to work easily with other team members as well as enjoying and having an aptitude for business development.

Experience of public sector pension schemes, either acting for them or for employers contracting out from the public sector, would be useful but not essential.

Above all, it would suit someone who enjoys a challenging and varied role.
