Court of Protection Fee Earner/Solicitor

A Court of Protection Fee earner/solicitor is required for a rewarding opportunity within a multi-service, legal 500 law firm. The role will be based in their Manchester office and offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

The role is flexible in terms of hours and working location (from home, remote, one of the offices in the south of the UK or a mix) and be willing to travel to attend on clients in and around the South West/South coast when required.

Working as part of an established Private Client team, you will focus on Court of Protection matters and provide mental capacity law experience that will help grow the court of protection specialism within the firm.

As a Court of Protection lawyer, with ideally over 2 years experience in a similar role, you will take on existing Deputyship work and help build up and develop the support team.

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual who is able to work without supervision but as part of the wider Court of Protection team with support from different areas of the team.

Applications are invited from experienced Court of Protection Solicitors, Legal Execs and Paralegals who have experience of running own caseload of deputyship matters including lower level asset matters where care funding from local authority, NHS or other and benefit income is relevant, Drafting Lasting Powers of Attourneys and be able to travel to clients wherever they live in the UK when required.
