We are currently working with a Family & Property law solicitors based in Birmingham who due to continued growth are now looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal/Solicitor to join their firm on a permanent part/full time basis.

 

The successful Paralegal/Solicitor will have full knowledge of the Conveyancing process, have excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential to this role as well as good time management and organisation. The successful candidate will be PC literate (have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel), understand legal terminology and have excellent communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career as a Conveyancing Paralegal/Solicitor.

 

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Dealing with conveyancing matter such as opening files, raising enquiries, reporting to client, registering properties at land registry and closing files.
  • Work on all aspects of conveyancing files.
  • Maintain and operate computerised and manual filing systems – including opening new files and archiving closed files
  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls
  • General administration – including printing, photocopying, scanning, assisting mailroom with postal procedures, research etc.
  • To comply with all policies and procedures
  • Liase with estate agents and referrers.
  • To treat all colleagues, clients and visitors with dignity and respect
  • To be committed to personal development and keep well informed of current issues and developments in matters relating to your role.
