Never has there been a more exciting time to join the busy Legal Services team. Broxbourne Borough Council and Epping Forest District Council have recently joined their Legal Services teams, offering an excellent variety of work and opportunities to operate in two interesting and diverse environments, with the partnership offering new horizons.
Senior Property Lawyer (Ref No: 1A128P)
Part time, 21 hours per week
Salary up to £26,885 pa depandent on skills and experience
The partnership is also looking to recruit a property law expert who will be responsible for undertaking the more complex property transactions, including general conveyancing, commercial leases, and associated matters across both Councils.
The successful candidate will display excellent in-depth knowledge of property law and procedures. There will be the management of a varied personal caseload, in addition to supporting and where necessary supervising the work of other property lawyers across both sites.
The role also requires the skills of an outstanding communicator who can build rapport and successful working relationships. Other skills and qualities required include efficient and effective organisation, self motivation, hard working and conscientious.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.
