Contentious Construction Solicitor

Due to expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a contentious construction solicitor within a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in central Leeds.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for construction law to join the Leeds office of a national law firm to work alongside a senior partner in conjunction with the wider national Construction Department.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be 2-4 years' PQE. Whilst experience gained in contentious construction is preferred, the firm is willing to consider a solicitor from either commercial litigation or property litigation who wants to cross over.

A strong academic background is essential for this role.

This firm is gaining rapid traction in the area of traditional construction disputes and has grown significantly over recent years, resulting in an expansion hire for a contentious construction solicitor.

The successful candidate will handle a client base to include developers, major corporations, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, construction consultants, local authorities and more.

The work will see you handling some of the largest construction disputes in the social housing sector which are often in the spotlight of the national media. Other cases include work in the energy and project sectors dealing with high value projects.
