An unmissable opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare solicitor to join a nationally respected firm in Birmingham.
Our client is a multi-locational firm with strong international connections, boasting a vast range of clients throughout the UK and worldwide. The firm is consistently growing and would be a fantastic choice for a candidate looking for progression in their career and to gain invaluable experience from a team of widely-recognised solicitors. The healthcare team at this firm form part of the larger Regulatory, Public & Commercial Disputes national service line and currently has three partners, fourteen associates and three paralegals who provide advice to a range of both public and independent sector health clients.
As an ideal candidate you will have 3 or more years post qualifying experience as a healthcare solicitor, ideally with excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. It is essential to our client that you have excellent written English skills for drafting purposes. As a successful candidate you will be handling a broad range of patient matters and public law work, which can often be headline news either locally or nationally. You will be working under close supervision, you will have diverse and interesting work within the team, which is part of the wider cross office NSL with team members based in Birmingham, Cambridge, London and Manchester.
