Personal Injury Solicitor

We are working on a unique opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join one of the North East's largest and most successful claimant Personal Injury teams specialising in neurotrauma.

Our client is a full service firm based in Newcastle. They work with businesses, organisations and individuals both regionally and nationally and are known for providing an exceptional service.

As part of the claimant Personal Injury department, this role will be joining the neurotrauma team working on serious neurological injury matters, in particular brain and spinal cord injury which could be incredibly complex and very high value.

You will be responsible for running your own caseload of injury matters including pre-litigation and litigated neurotrauma injury claims, liability investigations, review of medical, therapy, employment and case management documentation, attaining evidence from medical experts and drafting schedules of loss. Your focus will be to achieve the best possible outcome for the client and provide outstanding client care.

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you have experience handling a high-value, complex personal injury caseload, experience of brain or spinal cord injury claims would be an advantage but is not essential. You should also have thorough knowledge of the CPR and be conversant with medical issues related to serious injury claims.

The successful candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, a team player and dedicated to providing the best service possible to their clients. You may also be required to work unsocial hours and travel away from home from time to time.

The firm envisages the successful Personal Injury Solicitor to have 2-8 years' experience, however our client is happy to consider the applications or candidates who fall outside if this level but who have the relevant knowledge/experience, together with the enthusiasm for this particular role.
