Commercial Litigation Solicitor

We have a new opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor to join a well-established and ambitious law firm with solid routes to progression. Based in central Newcastle our client is a supportive, modern and unique set up with a fantastic culture including flexible working with the ability to work from home as and when required.

Our client is very people orientated and individuals are given the chance to shine in their own right. They work in an open plan office which allows the team to work together and share ideas. Support staff take care of billing and debt recovery leaving fee earners to concentrate on their clients.

The firm are looking for someone with experience in both commercial law and commercial litigation who is looking to be part of a progressive and vibrant environment.

The role involves working on a broad range of commercial matters including drafting contracts for supply of goods, supply of services and bespoke contracts, drafting shareholder agreements and partnership agreements, providing advice to directors and shareholders in accordance with the Companies Act 2006 and other associated legislation and mergers and acquisitions.

You will be given the opportunity to assist in the growth of the business and to generate new work from potential and existing clients by taking part in business development, marketing and networking activities. Experience of this would be an advantage.

You should be confident, able to establish strong relationships with clients with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the role.

The successful candidate should be NQ-3 years' PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket.
