Your new company
This firm is a leading international commercial law firm with offices spanning Europe and Asia. They offer a full service and advise clients across a wide range of sectors inclusive of but not limited to: manufacturing, marine, transport, international trade and marine. They are looking for a permanent Costs Draftsperson to join the firm.
Your new role
You will be joining a a costs team built up of experienced costs litigation professionals. You will assist with high value costs litigation, costs budgeting and appeals. You will be responsible for providing dedicated costs support for litigation lawyers across several UK and International offices. And additionally be responsible for the management of a complex, high value caseload the individual will be drafting and considering costs estimates in arbitration and high court disputes, schedules of costs, bills of costs/budgets, negotiating costs to settlement, preparing costs submissions in arbitration proceedings and some advocacy.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience as Costs Draftsperson or Costs Lawyer with a proven and demonstrable legal career in costs with experience dealing with high value claims. Experience of marine and shipping claims would be useful.
