Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experience, plus excellent benefits

Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week

Arts Council England is the development agency for arts and culture. This is a great opportunity for a curious, flexible and confident lawyer to join our active and engaged small-in-house legal team.

You will work with client teams across the country to help the Arts Council England achieve its mission and strategic goals.

You will be expected to provide high quality legal advice and support the in-house legal team’s functions on a range of matters including grants, contractual agreements and data protection.

You will be qualified and registered (with the Solicitors Regulation Authority) as a Solicitor in England & Wales or hold qualification as a lawyer in a comparable jurisdiction who meets the requirements of the Qualified Lawyer’s Transfer Regulations, preferably with at least 3 years post qualification experience working in private practice or in-house in a medium/ large sized organisation.
