Legal 500 firm in Essex requires a Family Solicitor to manage their own caseload of public and private matrimonial matters, for an initial period of one year to cover maternity leave.

Our client is currently seeking a skilful solicitor with solid experience in family law to join their thriving practice located in the Basildon area for an initial period of one year to cover maternity leave. There is a possibility that could be made permanent at the end of the year. The successful applicant will utilise their skills in this area to handle a varied caseload, whilst providing sympathetic advice tailored to individual client needs.

• Divorce
• Separation
• Financial relief
• Pre and postnuptial agreements
• Private Children Act matters
• Matrimonial work – Legal Aid
• Conducting own advocacy
• Public and private family matters

The Candidate
• Family solicitor with at least 4 years PQE
• Technically proficient in all aspects of Legal Aid
• With exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Preferably a children panel member but this is not essential
• Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
• Possesses excellent client care skills
• Excellent line management skills
