Clinical Negligence Solicitor, Leeds, 2 - 6 Years PQE, £45,000 - £60,000


Due to continued growth in the sector this leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its busy team in Leeds City Centre. This firm is recognised as the market leader in the health sector and represents and wide range of clients from well know household names to government departments and NHS bodies.

You will be joining a team that is consistently recognised and ranked top in the legal directories. You will be handling a caseload of high value challenging defendant clinical negligence work. You will be working on behalf of the NHS and the MDU and your day to day responsibilities will include drafting pleadings, witness statements, liaising with the NHS Resolution, Trusts and other bodies, conducting mediations and negotiation of claims and preparing all necessary documents. You will also contribute to the non-fee earning activity including writing articles, client seminars and training.

To succeed you will have 2 - 6 years PQE handling complex clinical negligence claims including catastrophic injuries such as birth defects. Experience on the defendant side is highly desirable. You will be able to demonstrate excellent relationship and client handling skills and adopt a commercial approach rather than purely academic.

In return you will be receive a highly competitive salary based on your current level of experience, in the region of £45,000 - £60,000. Solicitors and associates at the firm praise the flexible nature that the firm takes to work.
