This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Lawyer to take the next step, and work in a key management role, whilst also still managing complex and high risk casework This will also include representation in the courts, tribunals and at other bodies where required.
As a Senior Lawyer you will not only oversee the day-to-day management and supervision of the wider team; you will also assist the Team Leader in ensuring the provision of the most appropriate and cost-effective method of meeting the Council’s requirements for legal services. This will include contributing to the management of the wider Legal Services and supporting the organisation in achieving a high standard of corporate governance.
The ideal candidates for these positions will be strong and inspiring leaders, with exceptional knowledge in their specialist area and experience of working in either local authorities or a politically sensitive environment. It is a fantastic time to join us, as we expand and develop our Services, working in new ways to support the extraordinary changes happening in Local Government.
