Your new company
This Charity are best known for preparing young people with skills for life through workshops, activities and adventure. They help to develop character skills like resilience, initiative and tenacity; 'employ-ability' skills such as leadership, teamwork and problem solving; and practical skills like cooking and first aid. Based near Chingford, the Legal team require a Commercial Lawyer on a permanent basis.

Your new role
The role is primarily focused on the delivery of legal advice to the charity, its subsidiary companies and the charities business entity in the areas of contract, property and general commercial matters.You will also be required to support and advise the organisation on the development and implementation of policies and guidelines for staff and delivering training in areas such as anti-dishonesty, procurement, fundraising and data protection and privacy. Moreover, as part of the role you will be preparing, negotiating, drafting and advising on a range of commercial property matters.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you should have a minimum of three years post qualified experience as a Lawyer/Solicitor/Barrister. You should have demonstrable experience of working in the public, charities and/or not for profit sector within a general commercial legal role. Experience of managing a junior member of staff is desirable and you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be an experienced 'all rounder' in terms of in-house legal experience.
