THE ROLE
To provide comprehensive advice to the Technology and Commercial business functions within the business and promote legal, company secretarial and corporate governance best practice and to ensure a consistent, pro-active and risk management driven approach.
The main elements of the role centre around:
* technology systems;
* commercial contracts; and
* business development and key partnership agreements
Your role will involve providing legal advice and support to Technology and Commercial business areas and functions, with particular focus on:
Technology including IT procurement, software licence and hardware agreements, services agreements.
Commercial including marketing and advertising agreements.
Business Development including Local Authority partnerships/joint ventures.
The following experience is desirable but not necessarily required for the role:
NDAs.
Data protection including GDPR.
Employee, consultancy and Human Resources matters.
Commercial litigation.
ABOUT YOU
With 3pqe+, you will be an England & Wales admitted solicitor with demonstrable experience of leading the contractual negotiation and drafting of high value commercial contracts and of advising on (and being willing to take a view on) business risk assessments.
A motivated self-starter, you will demonstrate a practical and commercial approach to providing solutions.
