Job Details
Opportunity for a conveyancing solicitor to join this small practice and to work with a local client base within the Wigan area. You must have gained at least 3 years' experience and be confident running your own full caseload whilst also working unsupervised.
Despite being a small firm they have a tremendous reputation within the local community and have many repeat clients that come back due to the service that was initially provided. They are proud of their local ties and regularly have local clients coming into the office for face-to-face meetings, so ideally you will have a friendly manner and be comfortable meeting on a regular basis.
You will need to be able to deal with a broad mix of work and manage a variety of matters that 'come through the door'. The caseload will consist of work such as sales, purchase, right to buy, new builds, remortgaging, transfer of equity, shared ownership and auction properties as well as dealing with registered & unregistered land matters. The majority of the caseload will consist of low - mid value properties however you will should also be comfortable dealing with £multi-million work.
This position will see you manage your caseload from start to finish, with support of a Paralegal. The team currently consists of 3 highly experienced Solicitors and support staff as well as secretarial support across the firm.
