The Working Capital Manager position in theUK reports directly to the Head of UK Working Capital. Collectively, the firm's Working Capital Managers are responsible for managing the UK turnover and to provided to small overseas offices where necessary. Each plays a crucial function in delivering a best in class working capital management service to a specific group of Partners and other case handler for a number of practice areas (Sections) and where appropriate will positively contribute to the overall revenue management of any Department. The allocation of responsibilities is driven by location, business type or revenue complexity, but will likely be responsible for managing a Working Capital Team with a turnover of around £60m to £70m.

What you will need to be successful is the ability to advise the business on and ensuring compliance with, GAAP, VAT legislation and the provisions of the Solicitor Accounts Rules and Money Laundering requirements. Ability to ensure the correct VAT treatment is applied to all invoices, providing guidance on new or difficult issues reapplication of legislation. Significant revenue management, legal billing and collections experience gained in a major city based professional services environment.
