We have recently been instructed by our client, a Legal 500 law firm, who are looking to hire a Commercial Solicitor/Associate join their team in the centre of Bristol. The role offers a competitive remuneration package along with excellent progression opportunities.

The role:

The firms Commercial team is highly regarded across the region and looking for a Solicitor/Associate to join them on their journey as they continue to grow.

This team have an enviable client base across a range of sectors including retail and telecommunications and are instructed by private and public sector clients.

They can offer a plethora of high quality work and the successful candidate will be drafting, negotiating and advising in the following areas:

• Agency and Distribution Agreements
• Collaboration Agreements
• Conditions of Sale and Purchase
• Manufacturing and Supply Agreements
• Franchising
• Licensing of rights
• Competition Law
• Confidentiality and Exclusivity Agreements
• Data Protection and Privacy
• IT/IP Contracts
• Outsourcing
• Hire, Leasing and similar Agreements

The person:

The Commercial Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally a minimum of 5+ PQE gained at a regional or national law firm. Awareness of and a passion for commercial law are necessities, along with excellent interpersonal and self-management skills, strong academics and the ability to quickly build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.
